Generally when I enter a Zara boutique, I just make wish lists in my head and maybe tick them off someday before they get all sold out. But last time, that’s not what happened … (no suspense intended here).
Per usual there were some good stuff, but still too expensive for what my wallet can afford. I picked up what I wanted, which was an umbrella (because I always get sick when I get soaked under the rain …) then started queuing for my purchase. My eyes laid on the perfume stand, I’ve never even tried smelling their scents as I was supposing, they would be expensive like Mango or Guess perfume brand. To my surprise though, not only the scent ressembles some of the perfumes I know, the price was affordable. And when I say affordable, I mean 10€ for two 50ml flasks of perfume!
These 2 were in the same box, one called Covent Garden(violet, left on the photo) with a London address on sub-label and the other one called, Ginza (red, right on the photo) with Tokyo address on it.
Comparable to super expensive perfume
If I were to compare their fragrance with a well-known brand, I’d say Yves Saint Laurent Balck Opium. Covent Garden ressembles the scent almost perfectly whereas Ginza has a hint of refreshing and flowery scent.
Quantity = Quality
For 10 bucks you get to change perfumes for your everyday outfit whenever you go out or … maybe just enjoy smelling good inside your house. So if you’re broke like me .. and just ran out of perfume, I can recommend you this product, though they’re just eau de toilette (normally evaporates quickly on the same day you apply it), their scent actually last for at least a day (yup, I tried it, but I shower so no telling if they last longer than that ?, just kidding).
Let me know your opinion, I’d love to hear from you.
