Hi & hello lovelies! I hope you all had fun and received lots of presents on Christmas. I know I did (check out my Instagram story for snaps). Anyway, today’s post will be about product reviews regarding the skincare brand called Daytox.
Introducing the brand…
According to their website, the brand has been existing for quite some time now and was established in Germany. What Daytox products basically do, is that they’re complimentary to our detoxing diet.
The good thing about this brand (that’s why I tested the products in the first place) is that its products are free from harmful chemicals such as silicones, parabens or synthetic colors. The use of perfume oil is also allergen-free and to top it all off, it’s a vegan-friendly brand.
Facial Tonic & Daily Hydration
Seller
I’m not sure if Daytox products can be easily found, I actually bought mine from a parfumerie here in France called Nocibe, otherwise you can buy products on their online store.
Price Range
In terms of price, I’d say it’s reasonable for what it is. I have been using Lush product until now, and frankly speaking their products have the same price tags, well most of them.
Quality & Quantity
Let’s talk about packaging first, I quite liked the simple packaging of Daytox, it’s minimalist yet elegant, of course this is just my opinion. As for the container, the Facial Tonic is in a bottle made of plastic (which I find cheap, but then, it is what I paid for so no complaints there). The moisturizing cream comes in a little “medecine bottle” (it looks like that to me and somehow I find that really cute … weird I know!) with a tiny spatula to get the cream. For €10 you get 200ml for the toner, and €22.99 – 50ml of moisturizing cream, which in my opinion is not bad.
Personal thoughts
To be honest I did not notice any difference on my skin (I’ve been using this duo for about a month now). I have a normal to combination skin if this should help my experience. Personally though, I’m not very fond with sticky creams, this could very well be the downside for the moisturizing cream, other than this particular reason, I can say that it really does its job. I felt that it seeps right into your skin once applied.
Would I recommend this? Yes, if you have the same skin type as I do, meaning you only need little moisturizing.
Would I restock on this? I don’t think so, for the price I paid, there are other natural brands who offer better products.
Would you try this brand?
