MÁDARAOrganic Skincare is one of the best brands I discovered in my Nuoobox subscription, a Nordic skincare brand that uses northern herbs, arctic berries and unique seed oils. MÁDARA has a variety of products ranging from hair to body care.
One of my holy grail products is from this brand – SUN FLOWER GOLDEN BEIGE – TINTING FLUID. I first got to test it out in my August Nuoobox unboxing (which sadly I deleted in my publish posts …) and instantly fell in love with it.
“Tints, illuminates and evens out your skin tone. Northern Rose Hip extract and natural pigments instantly hydrate and perfect the skin’s appearance. Masks imperfections and fine lines, leaving skin fresh and radiant with the look of a summer tan. A lighter alternative to foundation.”
Right off the bat, this product contains one of my favorite oils – rose hip oil but what I like the most about this is that it’s supposed to illuminate and hydrate your skin. Hydration is essential in any products that I apply to my skin and this does just that. The first few times, I was applying the product with a damp sponge but I liked it even better using a foundation brush. It gives your skin that natural shine that looks so healthy and glowing. I’ve been reaching for this for everyday makeup looks.
Even though you can try to build it up, it wont totally mask your imperfections and fine lines like it claims to do, this may be a con to certain people but personally I don’t really mind. This product is called a tinting fluid for a reason and I think coverage might be stretching it a bit too far.
This retails for €29.95/50 ml, it exists in two shades, the lighter shade is called MOON FLOWER ROSE BEIGE. I think the price point is pretty fair, I can’t say how long it lasts, that depends on how often and how much product you use each time. I bought mine in September, first week of September to be precise, and until now I haven’t emptied the bottle.
I definitely recommend this product as an alternative to your foundation for everyday makeup look. I say this because I’ve never been really fond of using foundation even before really getting into makeup so this is a good replacement. This is absolutely the perfect base for a natural look.
Have you tried this tinting fluid before or something similar?
