Hello there lovelies, I hope you’re all doing well and you’re spending your weekend to the fullest. It’s already the first weekend of June! This month marks the start of my gearing up as a blogger, I changed my phone and turns out that my camera is better than expected so if you check out my Instagram page you will surely notice it. I still have to get myself a decent blogger camera, but I think it can still wait, for now, I’ll continue to make do with my phone. I got myself an iPad so now I can properly blog after a long and inconsistent time. This will enable me to work on my blogposts whenever I have time. That’s for the life update, enough ranting.
For today’s post, I will be reviewing/recommending another facial duo from one of my favorite skincare brands — Lush. To those who are up to date, I talk about this brand quite frequently, if you are new, do check out my reviews about the brand.
Facial masks and moisturizing creams from Lush and I go way back ever since I first knew of the brand. I will not say that I have tried everything but I did try most of their collection. You can read my first article about this here.
I thought Magical Moringa was the perfect facial moisturizer for me but, we know the song it also has its down sides. In terms of facial masks, I like variety, I change each time, this time, I exchanged my five empty pots for a fresh Cupcake facial mask.
Lush Cupcake fresh facial mask
I don’t personally like chocolate but this mask interpelled me. It contains ingredients that are good for those who have problematic skin (pimples, blackheads, etc ..). It costs £7.25 for 75g.
Lush Vanishing Cream
I probably gave up on moisturizing creams from Lush (aside from Magical Moringa) but I thought I’d give it another shot. The sales lady recommended me this cream, which goes well with the Cupcake facial mask. When I bought both of them, my skin was having problems due to me using Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Pore Clay Mask.
Texture-wise, I’m not really a fan, it’s too liquid for me but the smell is really nice, it’s not too overpowering. It cost me £18.95 for 45g.
Final thoughts …
If your skin is having giving you a hard time, in my case it happens rarely (I don’t originally have a problem skin, more of a combination type) but it bothers me a lot so this duo really saved me from stress. I noticed that just after a couple-of-days use of the Vanishing Cream moiturizer my skin immediately recovered.
Now if I have to repurchase it again? I’m still uncertain! As I said, I rarely have problems with my skin, but it was worth the shot.
Have you guys tried these products or at least one of them? What are your thoughts?
