I was searching in the back of my mind of the time when I started using perfumes, but I think I started early, maybe around 8 years old, I was already using body colognes. The very first perfume (eau de parfum) I had was the classic Nina Ricci perfume I received as a present when I was 14 years old. That bottle lasted for years, I believe. When I arrived in France, I could freely visit Sephora whenever I wanted thus giving me access to all the catalogue of perfumes.
So everybody likes perfumes, not only for their scents but also for their packaging (which is sometimes even more important). The Body Shop for the last couple of years, if I’m not mistaken, has really stepped up their game by remodelling their products’ packaging. At the last summer sale, these body mists caught my eye, even though I already knew of them when they were first released. I got myself three scents :
- Indian Night Jasmine which I use all the time, when I’m not using the other two. This is the body mist that stays in my pouch recently since autumn started.
- Japanese Cherry Blossom is the one I use generally for work, it has a sweet and mild scent that’s not too overpowering.
- Fijian Water Lotus was more of my thing during summer, be it for work or for outdoors, it’s got that fresh scent that’s perfect under the heat of the sun.
As you can see I didn’t purchase Atlas Mountain Rose , for a simple reason – I’m not very fond of its scent. I’m not sure if English Dawn Gardenia is a new release since I didnt’t notice it i the shop but I’ll be sure to check that out to see if I can it to my collection.
Do you own this collection as well?
